The only money worth planning for a casino visit is the amount someone can spend and lose without harm. The tool below turns an amount and a time into a pace, and the help lines follow it.

Set a limit before the drive
Decide two things at home: an amount of money and a stop time. Dividing the amount by the hours gives a pace, a rough amount per hour. Write both down, or tell the friend who is coming along. The casino is always open, 7 days a week, so no closing time will end the night. Only the stop time chosen at home will.
Non-alcoholic drinks on the gaming floor are complimentary, so there is no need to budget for them. Parking is complimentary too. A limit is a ceiling on spending. It is not a target, and it says nothing about winning: when the amount is gone, the visit is over.
How fast is my limit?
Divide the money for the night by the hours you plan to stay: that is the most to spend in any one hour. When it is gone, the visit is over.
Where to get help
- The staffed PlaySmart Centre inside the casino answers at 519-752-2950. Staff hours are Sunday to Wednesday 11 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Thursday to Saturday 11 a.m. to midnight.
- ConnexOntario takes calls at 1-866-531-2600, texts sent to 247247 with the word CONNEX, and chats at connexontario.ca, at any hour, in confidence and at no cost.
- OLG's My PlayBreak lets a person exclude themselves from Ontario casinos for 3 or 6 months or 1 to 5 years. Enrolment is through the OLG Support Centre at 1-800-387-0098, staff on site, or a PlaySmart Centre, and the term cannot be cancelled early.
- BetGuard, at betguard.ca, covers regulated Ontario online gambling sites only, OLG.ca included, for 6 months, 1 year, 5 years or a custom term. It does not cover land-based casinos, so it does not apply to the casino on Icomm Drive.

About the First Visit desk
This guide is written and signed collectively as the First Visit desk. It is an independent guide, not the casino's site, and it takes no bets. No page carries a personal byline, and the site has no named author. The woman in the drawings is an illustrated character. She is not a real person, not casino staff and not the author.
Facts on this page were checked on October 10, 2026, against Great Canadian's pages for the casino, OLG's casino list and Ontario sources. Times are Eastern time, as the casino posts them. Holiday hours should be checked on greatcanadian.com. The site has no forms, comments or accounts. It keeps nothing about readers except the colour theme chosen in the open browser tab.
- Is ConnexOntario open at night?
- Yes, it answers 24/7, and the help is free and confidential. Call 1-866-531-2600, text CONNEX to 247247, or chat at connexontario.ca.
- Can a My PlayBreak term be cancelled?
- No, the term cannot be cancelled early. A casino break bars entry to any Ontario casino until the chosen term of 3 or 6 months or 1 to 5 years ends.
- Who is the woman in the drawings?
- She is an illustrated character, not a real person, not staff and not the author. The guide is signed collectively as the First Visit desk.
